The Darien Foundation
The Darien Foundation was originally founded in 1998 as The Darien Technology Foundation. In 2007—responding to the needs of the community—the Board of Directors voted to expand their grant funding beyond technology projects to include community capital projects. As a result, the name was changed to The Darien Foundation to represent the wider scope of the mission. The Darien Foundations’s reputation for thoroughly researching grant requests and carefully administering grant awards has earned the confidence of its donors. This dynamic, community-minded foundation has become the go-to funding source for projects that support and enhance Darien.
The Darien Foundation serves all members of the community regardless of age, race, color, religion, creed, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status under applicable law. The Darien Foundation complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by law in its programs, services, employment, and activities.
